I personally voted for Good Morning High Fives - Let It Go. I love the vocalist and by their looks and talent, they all deserve a spot in the music industry.

Jeepney Music is a record label created by Black Eyed Peas member Apl de Ap. This is his way of giving back to the Philippines and to the world.

The Department of Tourism, spearheaded by Secretary Ace Durano is a Philippine government agency responsible for encouraging, promoting and developing tourism as a major socio-economic activity, spreading its benefits to sectors of our society.

Together they worked hand in hand to promote the Filipino talents and our country, the Philippines.

Globe GCASH sponsors the 2009 E-Commerce Summit

Technology-oriented individuals nowadays are more comfortable in transacting online for buying stuff, even food or paying bills. These people pay for these services online or through their mobile phones. Why not? Transacting online saves them time, money and effort.

One of the services making this possible is Globe GCASH. Globe tied up with BPI Mobile Banking so their subscribers including TM's have now the convenience of doing bank transactions using their mobile phones.

Transactions include:
- domestic and international remittances
- utility bills
- interest and amortization of loans
- insurance premiums
- donations to various institutions and organizations
- sales commissions and payroll disbursements
school tuition fees
- micro tax payments and business registration
- electronic loads and pins
- online purchases via GCASH Click
- airline tickets

Globe's services doesn't end there. GCASH is also used by rural banks for their money transfer services like text-a-deposit, text-a-sweldo, text-a-withdrawal, text-a-payment, and text-a-remittance. Aside from this overseas Filipino workers also benefit from Globe through GCASH REMIT, a cash pick-up remittance service of GCASH. It is now easier for OFWs to send their money, their beneficiaries can claim it in over 2,500 GCASH REMIT pay out locations within the Philippines.

Recently, Globe launched Immortal Load, the first ever load with NO EXPIRY which you can purchase via GCASH.

Know more about GCASH as Ms. Rizza Maniego-Eala, the President of G-Xchange, Inc. talks about "Challenges and Opportunities in Mobile Money Transfer: Implementation of GCASH" in this year's DigitalFilipino E-Commerce Summit.

Coraline (2009)

Have you watched Coraline? It's one movie worth watching. My daughter and I enjoyed it though I know that she'll appreciate it more when she's older. The whole story has a lot of lessons to learn both to busy parents and whiny children who thinks that they deserve BETTER parents.

Plot Summary:
A young girl walks through a secret door in her new home and discovers an alternate version of her life. On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life - only much better. But when her adventure turns dangerous, and her counterfeit parents (including Other Mother) try to keep her forever, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home - and save her family.

Quality Elections Giveaways

The National Elections is fast approaching and as early as now the politicians who will be running are already doing they're share of the campaign. From site visits to infomercials to social networking, name it, they're already up to it.

It's obvious that these people are running. Why? You'll see their faces everywhere! From your television sets to tarpaulins, to custom t shirts to pens. And I must say that the printing industry is once again alive and will boom until the election day.

I just hope that these politicians will give custom shirts of high quality. Something that people can wear for a long time because I just noticed that they are giving out low quality shirts which I think is an insult to the recipient. The same thing goes to the shirts they give out to the people who are supporting them. These people will work hard for these politicians so I guess they deserve something better, something high quality. I hope they would consider ordering shirts from Inkprints.com, a custom tshirt and apparel website that produces high quality shirts with awesome tshirt designs.

Anyone who handles the freebies of these politicians can just submit their tshirt design and the company will process it in no time.

I'll just hope that they would think about it rather than giving something not worth wearing.

Our 10-hour Comelec Registration Experience

It is surely an experience we will not forget.

Hubby and I planned to be in the Comelec office very early because we knew that the queue would be very, very long since it's Monday and a few days before the deadline. It was hard to drag my body off the bed, so, needless to say we arrived there at 8:00am.

The Flag Raising Ceremony
The Municipal Hall was quite crowded when we got there but we noticed that it was JUST their usual Monday morning flag ceremony. But what we didn't know was that it will take them an hour and half to finish the entire program. Believe me, there was still a dance showdown from several barangays. The program was off 9:30am.

The Long Queue
By 9:30am the line of monobloc chairs was already filled and there already was a queue of registrants in the plaza. Hubby and I were standing behind those monobloc chairs and was able to find seats after two hours after a lot of shoving on people who just came in but already wanting to go ahead of us. Rude people. After two hours, the line was already very long and the stadium filled with registrants, all hoping that they would get registered that same day.

There were two lines, one for the 18-20 year-olds and for the 20-above. We were on the latter of course. Around 10am the papers of the first-timers were already taken and they were advised to be back the following day for the biometrics. On our side, numbers were provided but we still have to fall in line for us to be served. As this was happening you would hear a lot of complaints from registrants because the process was really unsystematic. I've been telling hubby that "The Filipino people deserves better than this." It was so chaotic!

The Great Pretenders
Believe me, there were really A LOT.

Some brought their babies (yes babies!) hoping that they'd get in first but unfortunately there was no special line for them. Why not leave them home? Just imagine the heat and the stress they gave their babies!

Some pretended that THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING. Arghhhh!

Some pretended that they were Senior Citizens. Senyor-senyoran.

The Biometrics Machine
Yes, there was only 1 machine for the entire Bacoor, Cavite. Enough said.

The End
Finally, at exactly 6:18PM, Hubby and I were finally done! We were so thankful for the new friends we've made as we waited. They did not complain much and were taking things lightly. We can't afford another negative vibe that day. We went to church after the registration, to thank Him for the blessings and new friends we made that day.

Cravings

No I am not pregnant - yet.

It's just that I've been having crazy food cravings the past few days. Two days ago, I blurted that I wanted green mangoes but hubby said that there were no mangoes of that kind these days - hindi season. Okay, fine. I am not hard to convince on what's available and what's not because he does the marketing. You can't make me go to the supermarket unless there's no other choice.

Now back to my cravings, yesterday I got so tired with tofu and pork that I wanted to eat lumpiang gulay - at lunch when it's already impossible to find a store selling lumpia wrapper.

And today I am hating the way our house smells. We're having tuyo for breakfast and the smell really sucks.

Could I be pregnant? Hopefully not because we are not planning for another baby this year.
